Homecoming Week is JAGNation’s favorite time to visit with old friends, make new friends, reminisce over traditions, and experience new celebrations. Throughout the week, Jaguars will connect with faculty mentors, alumni, and students, all important members who make Augusta University so special.

1. The Jaguars!

As we get caught up in class, student organizations, internships and everything else, it’s impossible to meet everyone. Homecoming gives us the chance to meet and network with other Augusta University members that we might not meet in our usual social circles. The best part though? When you meet someone at a Homecoming event, you already know that you’ve got lots in common.

2. Networking

One of the great things about Homecoming is the influx of alumni back to campus. Make a point to attend events that can create opportunities to make relationships with alumni from your degree program, student organizations, or interests. They might be your next advocate into getting you into your career or be a great source for professional advice.

3. School Pride

We love to see all the Augusta Blue. School pride reminds us that we’re a part of something bigger, special, a community of individuals dedicated to our university and our city. Cheer on the Augusta Jaguars and show your pride!

4. JAGNation takes over the City of Augusta

During Homecoming Week, the Augusta University campus extends into the city. Events, tailgates, and block parties spill over campus boundaries to host Jaguars across the CSRA.
