In Shanghai, see old medicine with fresh eyes

Sometimes, the most ancient places can look brand new. If you don’t believe it, a trip to timeless Shanghai will change your mind. This year, first-year med students from the Medical College of Georgia spent a few weeks in China visiting with educators at the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. What they saw changed their lives, and their medical careers, forever.

Did you know? Augusta University’s Confucius Institute has a partnership with the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in… well, Shanghai! Our students have gone on several trips to China in the past, but this year, students from the Medical College of Georgia have traveled to Shanghai to study Traditional Chinese Medicine for the very first time! Interested in a trip to China? There’s a Chinese history trip coming up in spring 2019. Apply today to reserve your spot!
