Welcome to Jag Nation

Will: The Vacuum Canon

Will, physics major in the College of Science and Math, is back with another experiment that demonstrates the principle: forces = mass x acceleration. Watch as a small ball gets propelled across a room “really freaking fast.” It is done by having a vacuum suck out all the air from a sealed tube, building up the pressure then releasing it.

Chemistry and physics are the fundamental backbone of all science and technology.
